By accessing our site or using our services, you acknowledge that you understand, agree, and are bound by the following terms:
1.Services Provided
1.1 Clean My Trainers offer a shoe cleaning, restoration and care service. Cleaning services offered include a full upper, midsole, sole and lace clean as standard. We hand clean all materials including but not limited to leather, suede, nubuck, mesh, flyknit and canvas using industry leading eco-friendly specialist products.
Detailed descriptions of our services are available on our website or upon request.
1.2 Your Footwear will be photographed prior to being cleaned. Any pre-existing damage will be noted.
We take the up most care in providing our services. However, we are not liable for any damage to shoes beyond our control, such as pre-existing conditions, wear and tear, or manufacturer defects. Clean My Trainers cannot guarantee the quality of manufacturing, and circumstances may arise that are out of our control such as colour fade, colour run, discolouration, shape loss, and the forming of creases.
1.3 There may be occasions whereby deep-set stains are slightly visible following a clean and cannot be fully removed.
For best possible results we recommend that you use our services as soon as possible before stains have time to settle into materials.
1.4 Clean My Trainers specialise in cleaning footwear and whilst we can carry out minor repairs, we cannot conduct any major repairs (including large rips/ holes/ serious scuffs etc).
If you require repair work this must be discussed prior to booking with us and additional costs may apply.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 Bookings can be made through our website, phone (WhatsApp), in person and by using the messaging service on our Instagram.
2.2 Payment is to be made upon the completion of the agreed service.
We only accept payment through either bank transfer or cash.
3.Liability and Insurance
3.1 Clean My Trainers shall not assume responsibility for any personal property left with us including (cash, jewellery, etc.). Customers must check for any personal belongings prior to sending items to us as we will not be held responsible for any lost personal belongings.
3.2 Following completion of our service we will send before and after photographs for the customer to inspect. Any dissatisfaction with the item should be reported immediately to a member of staff following this inspection, failure to do so constitutes a waive of any claim to dissatisfaction or damage of the item. Once the item leaves our care, we hold no further liability.
3.3 If an item gets damaged, and it's proven to be due to Clean My Trainers negligence following an investigation, your compensation shall not exceed three (3) times our agreed cleaning charges or fees for the item, regardless of brand or condition.
3.4 Clean My Trainers will not issue payments for damaged footwear or fixtures for services previously rendered or for any problems encountered outside of our service.
3.5 Clean My Trainers have full Public Liability Insurance with AXA UK Business Insurance. FCA Registration number 202312
4. Customer Responsibilities
4.1 Customers must ensure that shoes are free of hazardous materials or substances that could pose a risk to our staff or equipment.
4.2 Customers must be honest about the condition of their items prior to delivery or drop-off.
4.3 Customers are responsible for ensuring that items are properly insured and packaged for delivery or drop-off.
4.4 Items must be collected (if this is the agreed return method) within 10 working days following the completion of our service. Customers must inform Clean My Trainers should this not be achievable.
5. Postal Services
5.1 Customers are responsible for arranging and paying the postage of items to Clean My Trainers if this is the agreed method for us to receive their item.
5.2 Clean My Trainers cannot accept responsibility or liability for items until they arrive with us. Any claims, disputes, or grievances related to the courier services, including but not limited to loss, damage, delay, or non-delivery of items, should be addressed directly with the respective courier service. Our company will not mediate or be involved in the resolution of such claims or disputes.
5.3 Clean My Trainers will arrange and pay for your items to be sent back to the customer using a Royal Mail tracked and signed for service.
6. Right to Refuse
6.1 Clean My Trainers reserves the right to refuse services to any customer and/or process any item at its discretion.
7. Data Protection
7.1 We collect and process personal data in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. Your data is used solely for the purpose of providing our services.
8. Change to Terms
8.1 Clean My Trainers may revise the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
